Pungmul Nori is a traditional percussion performance that combines music, shaman ritual, dance, and acrobatics. Mask Dance evolved from dances, music, and dramas and was held to pray for the nation’s peace and the well-being of the people.

Pungmul (also spelled Poongmul) is the name for various musical instruments used by Korean farmers, but the term is also used broadly to refer to the folk music and dance of traditional agricultural communities, with elements of indigenous shamanistic beliefs and rituals tracing back thousands of years.

Class will be announced upon the next schedule.
